俗话说同行如敌国，但一家咖啡店的老板娘得知自己的竞争对手罹患癌症末期后，竟让自己的咖啡店暂停营业，跑去帮对方顾店，好让对方的妻子可以多陪陪丈夫。

据《福斯新闻》报道，亚当斯（Pixie Adams）在美国奥勒冈州经营月光咖啡店（Moonlight Coffee House），和当地另一间“本地咖啡店（Local Coffee Company）”是竞争对手。不过近日她得知对面的老板戴夫（Dave McAdams）罹患癌症末期后，主动到对方店面顾店，还在网络上卖力宣传为戴夫筹医药费。

亚当斯于月光咖啡店的IG表示，戴夫好几年都在当地担任志工、教体育，为社区付出许多，如今竟不幸被诊断出癌症末期，目前正在接受临终关怀治疗，这代表着戴夫的家人需要大家的协助。

亚当斯说，民众来消费的每一块钱都会转交给戴夫和他的太太蒂娜（Tina），因此呼吁大家赶快赶快来买一杯饮料，或者将活动转发出去也行。

亚当斯透露，她之所以会前来帮忙，是因为自己在2017年开店前就曾被诊断出罹患乳癌，非常了解要在治疗病魔、陪伴家人、工作赚钱之间做到平衡有多困难。

况且，亚当斯和戴夫虽然是竞争对手，但两人私下常拜访对方的咖啡店并提供建议，早已结为好友。亚当斯说，筹款活动目前非常成功，她很高兴社区的人们充满着爱心，并且和她一起支持着戴夫与蒂娜。
