PETALING JAYA: An Umno source says caretaker prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob will go to Istana Negara before 2 p.m. this afternoon to have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to seek His Majesty’s consent to postpone the deadline to submit the candidate for new prime minister.

The King has earlier instructed leaders of political parties to hand in their choices of new prime minister before 2.00 p.m. this afternoon.
