KUCHING: DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook said in a media statement published on his Facebook this morning that he had paid a courtesy visit to Sarawak premier Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Abang Haji Openg at the latter’s residence in Kuching this morning.

Also present at the meeting was deputy premier Prof. Datuk Seri Dr. Sim Kui Hian.

Loke told Abang Jo he would publicly apologize on behalf of his party for any statement previously made by any DAP leader that was offensive to the government and the people of Sarawak.

He also hoped the meeting would open a new page to build better understanding and cooperation for the sake of a more developed and progressive Malaysia.
