IPOH (Sin Chew Daily) — Jointly organized by Sin Chew Daily and MCIL Multimedia Sdn Bhd, the 2015 Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards roadshow in Ipoh has attracted the attendance of SME representatives and local businesses from the state of Perak.
CIMB Bank is the exclusive sponsor of this event while the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCCCI) is the regional supporting partner.
PCCCI deputy president Datuk Liew Sew Yee urged local businesses to actively take part in Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards 2015, and use this platform as a motivation force to encourage them to innovate and upgrade.
He said the current ringgit downtrend, low oil prices and the upcoming GST implementation have added to the challenges of Malaysian businesses.
"The four key elements of Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards are Innovation, Transformation, Sustainability and Leadership. Businesses equipped with all these four conditions will be able to thrive sustainably."
Chairman of the Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards working committee Lenny Chiah gave a detailed round-upon the eligibility and selection criteria for Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards.
She said the awards should be seen as the highest form of honor for Malaysian businesses which have performed exceptionally in business management.
She said the awards, which is now in its third year running, has been receiving tremendous responses from local businesses in Ipoh.
