SHAH ALAM (Sin Chew Daily) — The fourth and final stop of the 2019 Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards roadshow held recently at Setia City Convention Centre has seen the active participation of businesses in the Klang and Shah Alam areas.

Ng Chet Chiang, deputy president of Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCCI), the regional partner of this event, described Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards as a truly reputable industrial event in the country with an emphasis on corporate strategic management.

He stressed that Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards’ role is even more crucial now at a time of economic uncertainty, as it gives local SMEs a firm push to scale greater heights and learn from successful companies that have won industrial recognition.

Meanwhile, Sin Chew Daily general manager (project) cum Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards working committee chairperson Lenny Chiah said the event, now in its seventh year, had won the approval of the country’s business community for the past six years.

She also highlighted the people-oriented design of the award trophy, saying that people are the single most valuable asset of a company and the employees must be treated well so that the company’s business can take off in a big way.
