JOHOR BAHRU (Sin Chew Daily) — Four participating companies from Johor have moved into the stage of site auditing and management interviews for the second edition of Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards jointly organized by Sin Chew Daily and MCIL Multimedia Sdn Bhd.

These four companies are Dynasty View Sdn Bhd (housing developer), Colourland Paints (Marketing) Sdn Bhd (paint manufacturer), AME Development Sdn Bhd and Eco-Shop Marketing Sdn Bhd.

Grat Thornton partner Desmond Tan and general manager of Sin Chew Daily Johor were among the people conducting the site auditing.

The Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards panel of judges comprises key personnel from the Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Hua Zong), the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM), Small Medium Industry Association of Malaysia (SMIAM), Malaysian Retailer-Chains Association (MRCA), Persatuan Usahawan Maju Malaysia (PUMM), Branding Association of Malaysia, the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance (MICG) and Sin Chew Media Corporation.

Desmond Tan said the panel of judges had conducted selection and preliminary assessment of participating companies before moving into the site auditing stage.

The final evaluation will be conducted on August 6 and winners will be notified subsequently.
