PETALING JAYA (Sin Chew Daily) — Sin Chew Daily today handed over the nomination papers for the second Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards to the managing director of Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd, Mr Lim Kim Heng.

The second Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards is organized jointly by Sin Chew Daily and MCIL Multimedia Sdn Bhd, both under Sin Chew Media Corporation. CIMB Bank is the exclusive sponsor of this event.

Among the supporting partners are the Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Hua Zong), the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM), Small Medium Industry Association of Malaysia (SMIAM), Malaysian Retailer-Chains Association (MRCA), Persatuan Usahawan Maju Malaysia (PUMM), Branding Association of Malaysia, the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance (MICG), Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malaysia and JCI Kuala Lumpur Mandarin (JCIKLM).

The theme for Sin Chew Business Excellence Awards is "Innovation, Transformation, Sustainability," and the objective is to show appreciation for outstanding SMEs in a bid to encourage them to take part in the nation-building process.

Lim said this is the second time Sen Heng has taken part in the nomination, and feels the event is a very excellent platform for companies to evaluate themselves.

He said it doesn't matter whether the company eventually wins or loses, but most importantly this event will bring tremendous benefits to participating companies as it will boost the company's morale if it wins, or serve as a catalyst for soul-searching and improvement if it doesn't.
