KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 17 (Sin Chew Daily) — Despite the movement control order to be implemented from tomorrow until end of the month in the wake of coronavirus, members of the public can still move about freely within the country, and the police will not check on individuals leaving their homes.

From what we learn, the policy is meant to prevent all social activities, close all schools and places of worship and restrict international travels. Members of the public still have the freedom to go out to purchase daily necessities and food items.
