KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 19 (Sin Chew Daily) — To more effectively spread the message of the government's movement control order, the Bukit Jalil police station has borrowed the speaker of a mosque to urge local residents to comply with the order.

Since the movement control order went into effect from yesterday, the enforcement authorities have been trying to convey the all-important message to members of the public through a variety of channels such as social media, media, broadcasting, etc.

This is the first time the police have used a mosque speaker to do the job.

The police officer making the announcement over the mosque speaker was the deputy chief of Bukit Jalil police station.
