PUTRAJAYA, Mar 23 (Sin Chew Daily) — Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced a record 212 new cases as of noon today, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 1,518.

Of the new cases reported today, 123 are linked to the tabligh event at Masjid Seri Petaling.

57 cases are being treated at ICUs, 27 requiring ventilators.

Noor Hisham also announced four new deaths, taking the toll to 14.

Meanwhile, 20 cases have recovered and are discharged today.
