PUTRAJAYA, Mar 26 (Sin Chew Daily) — The health ministry says samples have been taken from 9,026 participants of the tabligh event at Masjid Seri Petaling as of noon yesterday, with 1,057 confirmed with COVID-19 infection.

5,625 of the participants have tested negative.

Test results of 2,704 others have yet to be released.

Meanwhile, director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said a new coronavirus-related death was reported today, taking the toll to 21.
