PUTRAJAYA, Mar 26 (Sin Chew Daily) — Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 235 new COVID-19 cases today, taking the total number of confirmed cases past the 2,000-mark to 2,031.

He said among the 235 new cases, 60 were linked to the tabligh event at Masjid Seri Petaling.

Meanwhile, 45 cases are being treated at ICUs, 32 requiring ventilators.

Noor Hisham also said the country reported four new coronavirus-related deaths today, bringing the toll to 23.
