Johor Sultan: No Ramadan bazaars during fasting month
JOHOR BAHRU, Apr 2 (Sin Chew Daily) — Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar of Johor ordered Ramadan bazaars in the state not to open for business during the fasting month in view of the COVID-19 outbreak.
"Every day new cases are being detected. Now is not the time to hold any event involving mass gatherings.
"The complete effect of the movement control order must be achieved first. This must be our priority and concern. The Ramadan Bazaar can wait."
