PUTRAJAYA, May 21 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 50 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today.

To date, there are a cumulative total of 7,059 positive cases, 5,796 recoveries (including 90 discharged today) at 82.11% recovery rate, and 114 deaths (no new death reported today).

There are currently 1,149 active cases, including 10 in ICUs, seven requiring ventilators.
