PUTRAJAYA, May 27 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 15 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today.

Among the newly reported cases, six were imported and nine locally transmitted, including four involving foreigners.

To date, there are a cumulative total of 7,619 confirmed cases and 6,083 recoveries (including 42 discharged today) at 79.84% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 1,421 active cases, including eight at ICUs, four requiring ventilators.
