PUTRAJAYA, July 3 (Sin Chew Daily) – Five COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including three imported cases, all returning Malaysians.

The two locally transmitted cases involved Malaysian citizens.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,648 confirmed cases and 8,446 recoveries (including nine discharged today) at 97.66% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 81 active cases, including two at ICUs, both requiring ventilators.
