PUTRAJAYA, July 20 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 21 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including six imported cases involving four Malaysians and two foreigners.

14 of the 15 locally transmitted cases were in Johor, involving 12 Malaysian citizens and two foreigners, while the other local case involved a Malaysian in Negeri Sembilan.

To date there are a cumulative total of 8,800 confirmed cases and 8,555 recoveries (including two discharged today) at 97.22% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported today with the toll at 123.

There are currently 122 active cases, including three at ICUs, one requiring ventilator.
