PUTRAJAYA, Aug 24 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of seven new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

All the five locally transmitted cases were from Sarawak, two involving Malaysian citizens, three foreigners.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,274 confirmed cases and 8,965 recoveries (including six discharged today) at 96.67% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 184 active cases, including eight at ICUs, five requiring ventilators.
