PUTRAJAYA, Aug 26 (Sin Chew Daily) – Six new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including one imported case.

All five locally transmitted cases were from Kedah, including three from the Tawar cluster.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,291 confirmed cases and 8,978 recoveries (including seven discharged today) at 96.63% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 188 active cases, including nine at ICUs, six requiring ventilators.
