PUTRAJAYA, Sept 7 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 62 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including six imported cases.

Of the 56 locally transmitted cases, 30 involved Malaysians and 26 non-citizens. 50 of the cases were from Benteng LD cluster in Sabah.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,459 confirmed cases and 9,124 recoveries (including nine discharged today) at 96.46% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 207 active cases, including six at ICUs, four requiring ventilators.
