PUTRAJAYA, Sept 8 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 100 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 15 imported cases.

62 of the 85 locally transmitted cases were from the Lahad Datu Benteng cluster in Sabah and the other 23 from the Sungai cluster in Kedah and Perlis.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,559 confirmed cases and 9,136 recoveries (including 12 discharged today) at 95.57% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 295 active cases, including seven at ICUs, four requiring ventilators.
