PUTRAJAYA, Sept 10 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 45 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including one imported case.

Of the 44 locally transmitted cases, 40 were from the Lahad Datu Benteng cluster in Sabah (seven Malaysians, 33 foreigners), and four from Kedah.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,628 confirmed cases and 9,167 recoveries (including 24 discharged today) at 95.21% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 333 active cases, including nine at ICUs, five requiring ventilators.
