Ronnie Liu urged to explain allegation against Johor young leaders

PETALIANG JAYA, Sept 18 (Sin Chew Daily) – DAP central committee member Ronnie Liu has received a letter from the party's disciplinary committee over a Facebook comment he posted.

From the information made available to Sin Chew Daily, DAP's disciplinary committee wanted Liu to explain within 14 days the allegation he had made on Facebook against Johor young leaders working with Datuk Seri Azmin Ali in order to get back to the government, or face disciplinary action.

From what we understand, the letter was issued by DAP disciplinary chairman Chong Chieng Jen.

On June 18, Liu posted on Facebook his personal views on former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. He later replied to a party member: "I received complaints last night that some of the young leaders in your state are now talking about working with AA just to go back to govt. That's not the way."

In the letter, Chong said Liu had failed to substantiate his allegation which had brought disrepute to Johor DAP, implying that the young leaders are now working with traitors for government posts.
