KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 (Sin Chew Daily) – Parti Keadilan Rakyat president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he would not publish the list of more than 121 Members of Parliament supporting him to be prime minister, as it was between him and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
He told the media outside Bukit Aman police headquarters around 17:00 this evening that police asked him about the content of his audience with the King. However he stressed that it was between him and His Majesty and had nothing to do with any other people.
Anwar also said he extended full cooperation during the questioning, and was satisfied with the professionalism of the police.
He emphasized that he did not submit any list to the King during their meeting.
"Don't distort what I said. I then said I submitted the support letters from the leaders of various parties and other relevant documents, not including the list."
