KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 (Sin Chew Daily) – Umno and PAS will meet tonight to discuss ways to strengthen the cooperation within Muafakat Nasional and whether to continue working with PPBM.

The meeting tonight will likely decide whether the two parties will formally accept PPBM.

A PAS leader told Sin Chew Daily tonight's meeting will focus on strengthening the Muafakat Nasional and fighting Pakatan Harapan in the next general elections.

"Our position is that we will not work with DAP and PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim."

The leader also said prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will not attend the meeting tonight, as PPBM has yet to be officially admitted into MN.
