PUTRAJAYA, Oct 23 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 710 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including one imported case.

Sabah reported 528 cases, followed by Selangor (62), Penang (39) and Negeri Sembilan (37).

To date there are a cumulative total of 24,514 confirmed cases and 15,884 recoveries (including 467 discharged today) at 64.80% recovery rate.

A record ten new deaths have also been reported, taking the toll to 214.

There are currently 8,416 active cases, including 90 at ICUs, 28 requiring ventilators.
