PUTRAJAYA, Oct 26 (Sin Chew Daily) – Another record of 1,240 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

Sabah reported the most cases at 927, followed by Selangor (177), Penang (61) and Negeri Sembilan (25).

To date there are a cumulative total of 27,805 confirmed cases and 17,825 recoveries (including 691 discharged today) at 64.11% recovery rate.

Seven new deaths have been reported, taking the toll to 236.

There are currently 9,744 active cases, including 94 at ICUs, 31 requiring ventilators.
