PUTRAJAYA, Oct 27 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 835 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including five imported cases.

Sabah still reported the most cases at 410, followed by Negeri Sembilan (155), Selangor (126), Labuan (76) and Sarawak (16).

To date there are a cumulative total of 28,640 confirmed cases and 18,499 recoveries (including 674 discharged today) at 64.59% recovery rate.

Two new deaths have been reported, taking the toll to 238.

There are currently 9,903 active cases, including 89 at ICUs, 32 requiring ventilators.
