PUTRAJAYA, Oct 28 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 801 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including two imported cases.

To date there are a cumulative total of 29,441 confirmed cases and 19,072 recoveries (including 573 discharged today) at 64.78% recovery rate.

Eight new deaths have been reported, taking the toll to 246.

There are currently 10,123 active cases, including 94 at ICUs, 25 requiring ventilators.
