The seven decisions made at Umno SC meeting

KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 4 (Sin Chew Daily) – It has been learned that Umno's supreme council meeting held in Janda Baik, Pahang on February 19, made seven decisions, including not to work with PPBM in the next general election, continue to stay in the PN government until the parliament is dissolved, and form a new national level alliance with other parties but fight the election wars alone at state level.

From the information made available to Sin Chew Daily, the Umno supreme council also feels that contesting the general election with or without PAS will no longer matter, as the latter is perceived as tilting towards PPBM.

A source said Umno would not consider a deputy prime minister post, and would fight for the prime minister post by winning the largest number of seats in the election.

To win back voter support, Umno feels it needs to implement deep reforms and restructuring.

From what we understand, Umno hopes to hold the election as soon as possible in order to reclaim political dominance.
