PUTRAJAYA, Apr 14 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,889 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including six imported cases.

Selangor reported 517 new cases, followed by Sarawak (489), Kelantan (226), Sabah (142) and Kuala Lumpur (134).

To date there are a cumulative total of 365,829 confirmed cases and 347,780 recoveries (including 1,485 discharged today) at 95.07% recovery rate.

Eight new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,353.

There are currently 16,696 active cases, including 204 at ICUs, 79 requiring ventilators.
