PUTRAJAYA, Apr 20 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,341 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including seven imported cases.

Sarawak reported 600 new cases, followed by Selangor (539), Kelantan (429), Kuala Lumpur (344) and Johor (102).

To date there are a cumulative total of 379,473 confirmed cases and 356,816 recoveries (including 1,592 discharged today) at 94.03% recovery rate.

Three new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,389.

There are currently 21,268 active cases, including 249 at ICUs, 95 requiring ventilators.
