PUTRAJAYA, Apr 22 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,875 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 29 imported cases.

Kelantan reported 662 new cases, followed by Selangor (633), Sarawak (474), Kuala Lumpur (332), Johor (169), Sabah (160) and Penang (144).

To date there are a cumulative total of 384,688 confirmed cases and 361,267 recoveries (including 2,541 discharged today) at 93.91% recovery rate.

Seven new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,407.

There are currently 22,014 active cases, including 248 at ICUs, 115 requiring ventilators.
