PUTRAJAYA, Apr 29 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 3,332 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including nine imported cases.

Selangor reported 1,083 new cases, followed by Sarawak (522), Kelantan (401), Kuala Lumpur (359), Johor (207), Penang (158), Sabah (131), Negeri Sembilan (111) and Kedah (105).

To date there are a cumulative total of 404,925 confirmed cases and 375,340 recoveries (including 1,943 discharged today) at 92.69% recovery rate.

15 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,492.

There are currently 28,093 active cases, including 309 at ICUs, 147 requiring ventilators.
