PUTRAJAYA, Apr 30 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 3,788 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, the highest since February 7, including two imported cases.

Selangor reported 1,265 new cases, followed by Sarawak (760), Kelantan (464), Kuala Lumpur (255), Penang (250), Johor (160), Negeri Sembilan (136), Kedah (136) and Perak (118).

To date there are a cumulative total of 408,713 confirmed cases and 377,980 recoveries (including 2,640 discharged today) at 92.48% recovery rate.

14 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,506.

There are currently 29,227 active cases, including 328 at ICUs, 161 requiring ventilators.
