PUTRAJAYA, May 4 (Sin Chew Daily) – Senior minister (security cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced today that Movement Control Order (MCO) will be enforced in six districts in Selangor, namely Hulu Langat, Petaling, Gombak, Klang, Kuala Langat and Sepang from May 6 to 17.

The other three districts in the state (Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Hulu Selangor) will continue to be under conditional MCO.

The minister also said Hari Raya activities at all mosques in MCO areas will be allowed, except those in EMCO areas. However, the participants must adhere to the SOPs drawn up by the state religious department.

Economic activities will also be allowed in MCO districts, but social activities will be banned.

Cross state and cross district travels will also not be allowed.
