KL, Selangor residents below 40 to be vaccinated soon

PETALING JAYA, June 21 (Sin Chew Daily) — Selangor and Kuala Lumpur residents who are below 40 years of age are going to be vaccinated soon. Those who have signed up for vaccination are urged to check their MySejahtera app as they may have received appointment for vaccination.

Some young people aged 20 and above have also received notification.

As the national vaccination center at Bukit Jalil Stadium is scheduled to start operating on Monday, Klang Valley residents aged below 40 have received their vaccination appointments.

It was reported earlier that the national vaccination center at Bukit Jalil Stadium can vaccinate up to 10,000 people a day, targeting at people aged 40 and below.

A media practitioner received notification on June 19 that he was scheduled to be vaccinated on June 23.

A 25-year-old baker was also notified for vaccination on June 19.

"Friends shared their of joy of receiving appointments. I went to check MySejahtera app and I received my appointment too!" she said.

Many netizens tweeted that they received their appointments for vaccination in just three to five days' time. Those who received their appointments had signed up in February.
