PUTRAJAYA, July 14 (Sin Chew Daily) – Another record of 11,618 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 26 imported cases.

Selangor reported 5,051 new cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (1,749), Negeri Sembilan (1,537), Melaka (526), Kedah (504), Pahang (400), Johor (396), Sarawak (289), Sabah (286), Kelantan (236), Penang (210), Terengganu (189) and Perak (164).

To date there are a cumulative total of 867,567 confirmed cases and 759,705 recoveries (including 6,377 discharged today) at 87.57% recovery rate.

118 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 6,503.

There are currently 101,359 active cases, including 878 at ICUs, 432 requiring ventilators.
