PUTRAJAYA, July 20 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 12,366 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including eight imported cases.

Selangor reported 5,524 new cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (1,580), Negeri Sembilan (970), Johor (793), Kedah (701), Sabah (657), Penang (460), Sarawak (351), Melaka (309), Perak (295), Pahang (288), Terengganu (190) and Kelantan (179).

To date there are a cumulative total of 939,899 confirmed cases and 798,955 recoveries (including 7,567 discharged today) at 85.00% recovery rate.

93 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 7,241.

There are currently 133,703 active cases, including 924 at ICUs, 448 requiring ventilators.
