PETLALING JAYA, July 21 (Sin Chew Daily) – The COVID-19 positivity rate today was 12.51%, the highest this year.

The number of tests carried out as of noon today was only 95,766, while more than 100,000 tests were carried out on each of the past six days.

As of noon today, the country carried out 95,766 COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, with 11,985 positive cases, translating to 12.51% of positivity rate.

Yesterday, the country reported 12,366 new cases out of 124,519 tests, at a positivity rate of 9.93%.

So far 16,718,697 tests have been carried out in the country with a cumulative total of 855,949 confirmed cases, or 5.69%.
