SHAH ALAM (Sin Chew Daily) — The inaugural 2018 Sin Chew Education Awards presentation ceremony was held on January 25, 2019.

A total of 101 winners were honored under 15 different categories.

Among the award winners, Sunway Group Chairman and Founder Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Cheah was the winner of “Lifetime Education Award” while Sunway Education Group and Sunway University Senior Executive Director Dr Elizabeth Lee was the “Educationist of the Year”.

The evening’s guest of honor was Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Liew Vui Keong.

Jointly organized by Sin Chew Daily and Sinchew.com.my, Sin Chew Education Awards has been established to honor the best performers in the country’s education industry who have helped propelled the nation’s education development.

Among the sponsors of the inaugural Sin Chew Education Awards are Orando, e-Beauty Group, Plaza Premium Group, Fine Paper Takeo and Skynet Worldwide. The supporting partner is Setia City Convention Center.
